Aumus 1:1 The words of Aumus, who was among the herdsmen of Thaqu'au, which he saw concerning Yashara'Al in the days of AuzYahu sovereign of Yahudah, and in the days of Yarab'aum son of YahuAsh, sovereign of Yashara'Al, two years before the earthquake.
Aumus 1:2 And he said, “ 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 roars from Tsiyun, and gives forth His voice from Yarushalam. And the pastures of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Karmal shall wither.”
Aumus 1:3 Thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “For three transgressions of Damashaq, and for four, I do not turn it back, because they threshed Gal'aud with threshing implements of iron.
Aumus 1:4 “But I shall send fire upon the house of Chaza’Al, and it shall consume the palaces of Ban-Hadad.
Aumus 1:5 “And I shall break the bar of Damashaq, and cut off the inhabitant from the Valley of A'un, and the one who holds the scepter from Biyth Audan. And the people of Aram shall go exiled to Qir,” said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 1:6 Thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “For three transgressions of Auzah, and for four, I do not turn it back, because they took into exile an entire exile, to surrender it to Adum.
Aumus 1:7 “But I shall send fire upon the wall of Auzah, and it shall consume its palaces.
Aumus 1:8 “And I shall cut off the inhabitant from Ashdud, and the one who holds the scepter from Ashqalun. And I shall turn My hand against Auqrun, and the remnant of the Phalashthiym shall perish,” said the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 1:9 Thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “For three transgressions of Tsar, and for four, I do not turn it back, because they surrendered an entire exile to Adum, and did not remember the brotherly covenant.
Aumus 1:10 “But I shall send fire upon the wall of Tsar, and it shall consume its palaces.”
Aumus 1:11 Thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “For three transgressions of Adum, and for four, I do not turn it back, because he pursued his brother with the sword, and cast off all compassion. And his displeasure tore incessantly, and he kept his wrath forever.
Aumus 1:12 “But I shall send fire upon Thiyman, and it shall consume the palaces of Batsrah.”
Aumus 1:13 Thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “For three transgressions of the children of Aumun, and for four, I do not turn it back, because they ripped open the pregnant women in Gal'aud, to enlarge their border.
Aumus 1:14 “So I shall kindle a fire upon the wall of Rabah, and it shall consume its palaces, with a shout in the day of battle, with a storm in the day of the whirlwind.
Aumus 1:15 “And their sovereign shall go into exile, he and his heads together,” said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 2:1 Thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “For three transgressions of Mu'ab, and for four, I do not turn it back, because he burned the bones of the sovereign of Adum to lime.
Aumus 2:2 “But I shall send fire upon Mu'ab, and it shall consume the palaces of Qariyuth. And Mu'ab shall die amid uproar, with a cry and with the sound of a ram’s horn.
Aumus 2:3 “And I shall cut off the judge from its midst, and slay all its heads with him,” said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 2:4 Thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “For three transgressions of Yahudah, and for four, I do not turn it back, because they have rejected the Torat of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, and did not guard His laws. And their lies after which their fathers walked lead them astray.
Aumus 2:5 “But I shall send fire upon Yahudah, and it shall consume the palaces of Yarushalam.”
Aumus 2:6 Thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “For three transgressions of Yashara'Al, and for four, I do not turn it back, because they sell the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of sandals,
Aumus 2:7 who crush the head of the poor ones in the dust of the earth, and turn aside the way of the meek. And a man and his father go in to the same girl, to defile My set-apart Name.
Aumus 2:8 “And they lie down by every altar on garments taken in pledge, and in the house of their mighty one they drink the wine of those who have been fined.
Aumus 2:9 “Yet I destroyed the Amariy before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars. And he was as strong as the oaks, yet I destroyed his fruit from above and his roots from beneath.
Aumus 2:10 “And I brought you up from the land of Matsriym, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amariy.
Aumus 2:11 “And I raised up some of your sons as prophets, and some of your young men as Nazariym. Not so? O you children of Yashara'Al?” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 2:12 “But you made the Nazariym drink wine, and commanded the prophets saying, ‘Do not prophesy!’
Aumus 2:13 “See, I am weighed down by you, as a wagon is weighed down when filled with sheaves.
Aumus 2:14 “And a place to flee shall perish from the swift, and the strong not strengthen his power, and the mighty not save his life,
Aumus 2:15 and he who handles the bow not stand, and the swift of foot not save, nor he who rides a horse save his life,
Aumus 2:16 and the bravest among the mighty flee naked, in that day,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 3:1 Hear this word that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 has spoken against you, O children of Yashara'Al, against the entire clan which I brought up from the land of Matsriym, saying,
Aumus 3:2 “You alone have I known of all the clans of the earth, therefore I punish you for all your crookednesses.”
Aumus 3:3 Would two walk together, unless if they are agreeing?
Aumus 3:4 Does a lion roar in the forest, when he has no prey? Does a young lion give forth his voice out of his den unless he has caught?
Aumus 3:5 Does a bird fall into a snare on the earth, where there is no trap for it? Does a snare spring up from the earth, if it has not captured prey?
Aumus 3:6 If a shuphar is blown in a city, do the people not tremble? If there is calamity in a city, shall not 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 have done it?
Aumus 3:7 For the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 does no matter unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
Aumus 3:8 A lion has roared! Who is not afraid? The Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 has spoken! Who would not prophesy?
Aumus 3:9 “Cry out at the palaces in Ashdud, and at the palaces in the land of Matsriym, and say, ‘Gather on the mountains of Shamarun, and see the many unrests in her midst, and the oppressed ones within her.
Aumus 3:10 ‘But they do not know to do what is right,’ declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, ‘these who store up plunder and loot in their palaces.’ ”
Aumus 3:11 Therefore thus said the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “An enemy, even all around the land! And he shall bring down your strength from you, and your palaces shall be plundered.”
Aumus 3:12 Thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “As a shepherd rescues from the mouth of a lion two legs or a piece of an ear, so are the children of Yashara'Al who dwell in Shamarun to be rescued – in the corner of a bed and in Damashaq sickbed!
Aumus 3:13 “Hear and witness against the house of Ya'auqab,” declares the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, the Alahiym of hosts.
Aumus 3:14 “For in the day I visit Yashara'Al for their transgressions, I shall also punish concerning the altars of Biyth Al. And the horns of the altar shall be broken, and they shall fall to the ground.
Aumus 3:15 “And I shall smite the winter house along with the summer house. And the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall be swept away,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 4:1 Hear this word, you cows of Bashan, who are on the mountain of Shamarun, who are oppressing the poor, who are crushing the needy, who are saying to their masters, “Bring wine, let us drink!”
Aumus 4:2 The Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 has sworn by His set-apartness, “See, days are coming upon you when He shall take you away with hooks, and your descendants with fish-hooks,
Aumus 4:3 and let you go out at the breaches, each woman before her, and you shall be cast out toward Harmon,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 4:4 “Come to Biyth Al and transgress, to Galgal, increase transgression. And bring your slaughterings every morning, your tithes every three days.
Aumus 4:5 “And burn an offering of thanksgiving with leaven, proclaim voluntary offerings, loudly. For you have loved this, you children of Yashara'Al!” declares the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 4:6 “And I also gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and lack of bread in all your places. But you did not turn back to Me,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 4:7 “And I also withheld rain from you, three months before the harvest. Then I would send rain on one city, and on another city I would not send rain. One part was rained upon, and where it did not rain the part would dry up.
Aumus 4:8 “Then two or three cities would wander to another city to drink water, but they were not satisfied. But you did not turn back to Me,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 4:9 “I have smitten you with blight and with mildew. The creeping locust devoured your many gardens, and your vineyards, and your fig trees, and your olive trees. But you did not turn back to Me,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 4:10 “I have sent among you a plague in the way of Matsriym. I have slain your young men with a sword, along with your captured horses. And I made the stench of your camps come up into your nostrils. But you did not turn back to Me,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 4:11 “I have overthrown some of you, as Alahiym overthrew Sadam and Aumarah, and you were like a burning stick plucked from the burning. But you did not turn back to Me,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 4:12 “Therefore I am doing this to you, O Yashara'Al. And because I do this to you, prepare to meet your Alahiym, O Yashara'Al!”
Aumus 4:13 For look, He who forms mountains, and creates the wind, and who declares to man what His thought is, and makes the morning darkness, and who treads the high places of the earth, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Alahiym of hosts is His Name.
Aumus 5:1 Hear this word which I take up against you, this lamentation, O house of Yashara'Al:
Aumus 5:2 The maiden of Yashara'Al has fallen, not to rise again. She lies forsaken on her land, with no one to lift her up.
Aumus 5:3 For thus said the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “The city that goes out by a thousand has a hundred left, and that which goes out by a hundred has ten left to the house of Yashara'Al.”
Aumus 5:4 For thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 to the house of Yashara'Al, “Seek Me and live,
Aumus 5:5 but do not seek Biyth Al, nor enter Galgal, nor pass over to Bar Shabau. For Galgal shall certainly go into exile, and Biyth Al become a non-entity.
Aumus 5:6 “Seek 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and live, lest He break out like fire upon the house of YahuSaph, and shall consume it, with no one to quench it in Biyth Al.
Aumus 5:7 “O you who are turning right-ruling to wormwood, and have cast down righteousness to the earth!”
Aumus 5:8 He who made Kimah and Kasil, and who turns the shadow of death into morning and darkened day into night, who is calling for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the face of the earth – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is His Name –
Aumus 5:9 who is flashing forth destruction upon the strong, so that destruction comes upon the stronghold.
Aumus 5:10 They hated the one who reproves in the gate, and they despise the one who speaks the truth.
Aumus 5:11 Therefore, because you trample on the poor and take grain taxes from him – you have built houses of hewn stone but you are not going to dwell in them, you have planted pleasant vineyards but not drink wine from them.
Aumus 5:12 For I know your transgressions are many and your sins are great, afflicting the righteous and accepting bribes, and turning aside the poor at the gate.
Aumus 5:13 Therefore the wise keep silent at that time, for it is an evil time.
Aumus 5:14 Seek good and not evil, so that you live. And let 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Alahiym of hosts be with you, as you have spoken.
Aumus 5:15 Hate evil and love good, and set up right-ruling in the gate. It might be that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Alahiym of hosts shows favor to the remnant of YahuSaph.
Aumus 5:16 Therefore 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Alahiym of hosts, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, said this, “There is wailing in all open squares, and in all the streets they say, ‘Hu! Hu!’ and shall call the farmer to mourning, and skilled lamenters to wailing.
Aumus 5:17 “And in all vineyards there is wailing, for I pass through your midst,” said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 5:18 Woe to you who are longing for the day of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 ! What does the day of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 mean to you? It is darkness, and not light,
Aumus 5:19 as when a man flees from a lion, and a bear shall meet him; or entered his house, rested his hand on the wall, and a serpent shall bite him.
Aumus 5:20 Is not the day of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 darkness, and not light? Is it not very dark, with no brightness in it?
Aumus 5:21 “I have hated, I have despised your festivals, and I am not pleased with your assemblies.
Aumus 5:22 “Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings, I do not accept them, nor do I look on your fattened peace offerings.
Aumus 5:23 “Take away from Me the noise of your songs, for I do not hear the sound of your stringed instruments.
Aumus 5:24 “And let right-ruling roll on like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream.
Aumus 5:25 “You brought Me slaughterings and meal offerings in the wilderness for forty years, O house of Yashara'Al,
Aumus 5:26 and you took up sakuth (booths) your Malak and Kiyun, your images, the star of your mighty ones, which you made for yourselves!
Aumus 5:27 “Therefore I shall send you into exile beyond Damashaq,” said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Alahiym of hosts – His Name.
Aumus 6:1 Woe to those at ease in Tsiyun, and those trusting in Mount Shamarun, the distinguished ones among the chief of the nations, to whom the house of Yashara'Al comes!
Aumus 6:2 Pass over to Kalnah and see, and from there go to Chamath the great. Then go down to Gath of the Phalashthiym. Are you better than these reigns, or is their border greater than your border?
Aumus 6:3 You who are putting off the day of evil, yet bring near the seat of violence,
Aumus 6:4 who are lying on beds of ivory, and are stretched out on your couches, and are eating lambs from the flock and calves from the midst of the stall,
Aumus 6:5 who are singing to the sound of the harp, having composed songs for themselves like Dud,
Aumus 6:6 who are drinking wine from bowls, and anoint with the finest ointments, yet they have not been pained over the breach of YahuSaph!
Aumus 6:7 Therefore they shall now go into exile, with the first of the exiles, and the feasting of the stretched-out ones shall cease!
Aumus 6:8 The Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 has sworn by Himself, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Alahiym of hosts declares, “I am loathing the pride of Ya'auqab, and I have hated his palaces. Therefore I shall deliver up the city and all that is in it.”
Aumus 6:9 And it shall be, that if ten men remain in one house, they shall die.
Aumus 6:10 And if a relative, or his undertaker, brings the remains out of the house, he shall say to one inside the house, “Is anyone with you?” and he says, “No,” then he shall say, “Hush!” For we have not remembered the Name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 !
Aumus 6:11 For look, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is commanding, and He shall smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts.
Aumus 6:12 Do horses run on a rock? Does one plough it with oxen? For you have turned right-ruling into poison, and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood,
Aumus 6:13 you who are rejoicing over a matter of naught, who say, “Have we not taken horns for ourselves by our own strength?”
Aumus 6:14 “For look, I am raising up a nation against you, O house of Yashara'Al,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Alahiym of hosts, “and they shall oppress you from the entrance of Chamath to the valley Aurabah.”
Aumus 7:1 This is what the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 showed me, and see, He was forming locust swarms at the beginning of the late crop. And see, it was the late crop after the mowings of the sovereign.
Aumus 7:2 And it came to be, when they had finished eating the grass of the land, that I said, “O Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, forgive, I pray! How does Ya'auqab survive, for he is small?”
Aumus 7:3 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 relented concerning this. “It shall not be,” said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 7:4 This is what the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 showed me, and see, the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 was calling to contend by fire, and it consumed the great deep and did consume the portion,
Aumus 7:5 and I said, “O Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, please stop! How does Ya'auqab survive, for he is small?”
Aumus 7:6 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 relented concerning this. “This shall not be either,” said the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 7:7 This is what He showed me, and see, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 stood on a wall made with a plumb-line, with a plumb-line in His hand,
Aumus 7:8 and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to me, “Aumus, what do you see?” And I said, “A plumb-line.” And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said, “See, I am setting a plumb-line in the midst of My people Yashara'Al, no longer do I pardon them.
Aumus 7:9 “And the high places of Yatschaq shall be laid waste, and the set-apart places of Yashara'Al shall be destroyed. And I shall rise with the sword against the house of Yarab'aum.”
Aumus 7:10 Then AmatsYahu the priest of Biyth Al sent to Yarab'aum sovereign of Yashara'Al, saying, “Aumus has conspired against you in the midst of the house of Yashara'Al. The land is not able to endure all his words,
Aumus 7:11 for this is what Aumus said, ‘Yarab'aum shall die by the sword, and Yashara'Al certainly be exiled from their own land.’ ”
Aumus 7:12 And AmatsYahu said to Aumus, “Go, you seer! Flee to the land of Yahudah, and eat bread and prophesy there,
Aumus 7:13 but do not prophesy any more at Biyth Al, for it is the sovereign’s set-apart place and it is the house of the reign.”
Aumus 7:14 And Aumus answered and said to AmatsYahu, “I am not a prophet, nor am I a son of a prophet, for I am a herdsman and a grower of sycamore figs.
Aumus 7:15 “But 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 took me from behind the flock, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to My people Yashara'Al.’
Aumus 7:16 “And now, hear the word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. You are saying, ‘Do not prophesy against Yashara'Al, and do not drop against the house of Yatschaq.’
Aumus 7:17 “Therefore thus said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, ‘Your wife shall become a whore in the city, and your sons and daughters fall by the sword, and your land be divided by a measuring line, and you die in a defiled land, and Yashara'Al shall certainly be exiled from its land.’ ”
Aumus 8:1 This is what the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 showed me, and see, a basket of summer fruit.
Aumus 8:2 And He said, “Aumus, what do you see?” And I said, “A basket of summer fruit.” And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to me, “The end has come upon my people Yashara'Al, no longer do I pardon them.
Aumus 8:3 “And the songs of the Hikal shall be wailing in that day,” declares the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “many dead bodies everywhere, thrown into any place – hush!”
Aumus 8:4 Hear this, you who are swallowing up the needy, to do away with the poor of the land,
Aumus 8:5 saying, “When does the New Moon pass so that we sell grain, and the Shabath so that we trade our wheat, to make the aiphah small and the shaqal large, and to falsify the scales by deceit,
Aumus 8:6 to buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals, and sell the chaff of the wheat?”
Aumus 8:7 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 has sworn by the Excellency of Ya'auqab, “I shall never forget any of their works.
Aumus 8:8 “Shall the land not tremble for this, and everyone mourn who dwells in it? And all of it shall swell like the River, heave and subside like the River of Matsriym.
Aumus 8:9 “And it shall be in that day,” declares the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “that I shall cause the sun to go down at noon, and shall darken the earth on a day of brightness,
Aumus 8:10 and shall turn your festivals into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation, and bring sackcloth on all loins, and baldness on every head, and shall make it like mourning for an only son, and its end like a day of bitterness.
Aumus 8:11 “See, days are coming,” declares the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “that I shall send a hunger in the land, not a hunger for bread, nor a thirst for water, but for hearing the Words of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 8:12 “And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east – they shall diligently search, seeking the Word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, but they shall not find it.
Aumus 8:13 “In that day the pretty maidens and strong young men shall faint from thirst,
Aumus 8:14 those swearing by the guilt of Shamarun, who say, ‘As your mighty one lives, O Dan!’ and, ‘As the way of Bar-Shabau lives!’ And they shall fall and never rise again.”
Aumus 9:1 I saw 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 standing by the altar, and He said, “Smite the column head, so that the thresholds shake, and break them off by the head, all of them. And the last of them I slay with the sword. Not one of them fleeing gets away, and not one fugitive of them escapes.
Aumus 9:2 “If they dig into the grave, from there my hand does take them; and if they climb up to the shamiym, from there I bring them down.
Aumus 9:3 “And if they hide themselves on top of Karmal, from there I shall search, and take them. And if they hide from before My eyes at the bottom of the sea, from there I shall command the serpent, and it shall bite them.
Aumus 9:4 “And if they go into captivity before their enemies, from there I shall command the sword, and it shall slay them. And I shall set My eyes on them for evil and not for good.”
Aumus 9:5 And the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 of hosts is He who touches the earth so that it melts, and all who dwell in it mourn, and all of it come up like the River, and subside like the River of Matsriym –
Aumus 9:6 who is building His upper room in the shamiym, and has founded His firmament on the earth, who is calling for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the face of the earth – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is His Name.
Aumus 9:7 “Are you not like the people of Kush to Me, O children of Yashara'Al?” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. “Did I not bring up Yashara'Al from the land of Matsriym, and the Phalashthiym from Kaphthur, and Aram from Qir?
Aumus 9:8 “Look, the eyes of the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 are on the sinful reign, and I shall destroy it from the face of the earth, except that, I do not completely destroy the house of Ya'auqab,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
Aumus 9:9 “For look, I am commanding, and I shall sift the house of Yashara'Al among all the gentiles, as one sifts with a sieve, yet not a grain falls to the ground.
Aumus 9:10 “All the sinners of My people are going to die by the sword, those who are saying, ‘Evil does not overtake us nor meet us.’
Aumus 9:11 “In that day I shall raise up the booth of Dud which has fallen down. And I shall repair its breaches and raise up its ruins. And I shall build it as in the days of old,
Aumus 9:12 so that they possess the remnant of Adum, and all the gentiles on whom My Name is called,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 who does this.
Aumus 9:13 “Look, the days are coming,” declares 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, “that the ploughman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed. And the mountains shall drip new wine, and all the hills melt.
Aumus 9:14 “And I shall turn back the captivity of My people Yashara'Al. And they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them. And they shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them, and shall make gardens and eat their fruit.
Aumus 9:15 “And I shall plant them on their own soil, and not uproot them any more from their own soil I have given them,” said 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 your Alahiym!
